CoZA leaves Port Phillip Bay - 06/09/2009

On 6 September 2009 the dredging project's last ocean going dredger, the Cornelis Zanen or CoZA left Port Phillip Bay. The departure signalled the end of works by the ocean going dredge vessles.

Several small grab dredges and barges will continue working until later this year. The project is scheduled to be completed by 31 December 2009.

Entrance deep reef reports available - 28/08/2009

Three reports assessing dredging's effects in the Entrance as well as supporting video footage are now available.

Queen leaves Port Phillip Bay - 22/08/2009

On 22 August 2009 the dredging project's biggest dredger, the Queen of the Netherlands left Port Phillip Bay. The departure signalled the completion of major dredging works.

The CoZA will dredge up to the end of August and several small grab dredges and barges will continue working until later this year. The project is scheduled to be completed by 31 December 2009.
