Commercial Catch and Effort Monitoring Program



Conducted by the Department of Primary Industries the Commercial Catch and Effort Monitoring Program aims to identify trends in catch and effort data in commercial fisheries.

The program monitors fishing effort, the weight of fish retained by commercial fishers and daily logbook records for five Bay fisheries and two developing fisheries, submitted monthly to Fisheries Victoria.
