Bacterial Contamination in the Yarra River Monitoring Program



Conducted by EPA Victoria the Bacterial Contamination in the Yarra River Monitoring Program is an existing program that tests water samples taken from 12 sites, including four sites in the lower Yarra River for bacterial contamination (E.Coli) on a weekly basis.

The results are used to provide the community with the most up-to-date information on water quality in the Yarra River.
